How to buy PS5 and PS4 games if your country has no PS Store
Short answer: Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia have no PS Store of their own, and the Russian store has not sold games since March 2022. So people buy games on disc, or digitally on an account from another country — most often Turkey, the USA or Poland. How to choose: you have a disc drive and the game is out on disc — buy the disc; you already have an account from another country — use a PSN top-up card for that country; you want a specific game on your own account — P1; you have no account — create your own or take P4; you want to pay less — P3 or P2. This guide was prepared by ZAMON, an online store that sells PSN cards and games through methods P1–P4 (written П1–П4 on the Russian version of the site); it also covers the options where you don't need a store at all.
The options at a glance
- Disc. The disc is yours and you can resell it. No PSN password needed. Price: the shop price; used discs are cheaper.
- PSN top-up card. The game is on your account. No password needed: you enter the code yourself. Price: the PS Store price plus the markup on the card.
- P1. The game is on your account. Turkey, USA, Poland — no password needed (we provide a top-up code); Ukraine, India — we sign in to your account. Price: the game's price in the selected country's store plus a markup.
- P4. The game is on a new account that the store creates and hands over to you. Your own password isn't needed. Price: P1 for the selected country plus $2.
- P3. The game is on the store's account; you play from your own profile. Your password isn't needed. Price: usually about half of P1.
- P2. The game is on the store's account and the profile is shared. Your password isn't needed. Price: usually the cheapest option.
What changed in 2026: card country and account region
- The account region can't be changed. Sony doesn't let you change an account's country after it has been created. Choose it right away: check whether the games you want are available in Russian in that country's store and whether top-up cards are sold for it.
- A bank card works only for its own country. In November 2025, cards from Kazakhstan, Armenia, Belarus and other countries briefly went through in the Turkish and Indian stores (Rozetked, DTF), but now, according to players' reports, since February 2026 a bank card goes through in PS Store only on an account from the country where the card was issued (digital-report.ru, 08.02.2026; Sony has not commented).
- Top-up codes are regional too. A Turkish code can be redeemed only on a Turkish account, a US code only on a US account. A used code can't be replaced.
Each option in detail
- Disc. You need a PS5 with a disc drive or a PS4. Add-ons are bought separately and must match the region of the disc: for example, an add-on from the US store won't work with a European disc.
- PSN top-up card. You redeem the code yourself (Sony's instructions): on PS5 — PlayStation Store → “…” → “Redeem Code”; on PS4 — PlayStation Store → “Redeem Codes” at the bottom of the menu; in a browser — store.playstation.com → profile icon → “Redeem Code”. The money goes to your wallet, and you buy the game yourself at the PS Store price.
- P1, purchase on your account. The game and any add-ons bought for it stay on your account like any PS Store purchase, and the saves are yours too. For accounts from Turkey, the USA and Poland we provide a PSN top-up code (in the denominations our supplier offers): you redeem it on your account and buy the game yourself — no password needed. We don't have codes for Ukraine or India, so for those accounts the purchase is made by signing in to your account — change your password afterwards. Your account's country must match the country selected on the product page, wherever you live.
- P4, a new account with the game. The store registers a new PSN account, buys the game on it and gives you the login details. You choose the country on the product page from those where the game is available in Russian (the cheapest one by default). Change the password and email right away and turn on two-step verification. You need to play from this account: saves and trophies will be on it.
- P3, play from your own profile. The game is bought on the store's account. You sign in to the account you're given and turn on Console Sharing and Offline Play, then play from your own profile; trophies and saves are on your profile. On PS5 it works online and offline; on PS4, P3 isn't available for every game — the product page shows this before payment. The game and regular DLC are available; if an edition bonus is tied to the purchasing account, the product page says so. You can't change the details of the account you're given. During PS Store sales the price gap with P1 is smaller than usual.
- P2, shared account. You play by signing in to the account you're given: the profile is shared, the trophies aren't yours, and an internet connection is required. Sign-in is provided once, for one console — don't close the order until you've made sure the game launches. The actual lowest price on the product page is marked with a lowest-price badge: for older games that is sometimes P4. Needing the internet to launch the game doesn't mean the purchase includes PS Plus for online play.
The risks, honestly
- No one can guarantee zero risk: Sony may change its rules and apply restrictions for violations of the PSN terms. The PSN terms prohibit sharing login details and buying or transferring accounts.
- You depend least on the seller when nobody gets your password: a top-up card, or P1 via a code. With P3 and P2 the licence stays with the store — that is the trade-off for the low price. The P4 account is created by the store, so change its details as soon as you receive it.
- Bank card details are entered on the payment partner's page; the store neither sees nor stores them. The email in your order is used to contact you and is not the password to your gaming account.
How to buy from ZAMON if you're not in Russia
- Online only. Choose a game in the PlayStation catalog and a card in the top-up section; the status and instructions are shown on the order page. There are no shops, couriers or pick-up points.
- Currency. From Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan the site shows somoni, tenge, som and sum by default (converted at today's rate); from other countries it shows rubles. You can switch the currency in the header; the final amount is shown on the payment page.
- Payment. We accept buyers from all CIS countries. From CIS countries other than Russia you can pay with a foreign Mastercard (with a card processing surcharge; the amount is shown before you pay), USDT on TRC-20 or BEP-20, or Binance Pay — with crypto you pay exactly the price on the product page. If you have a Visa or your card was declined, write to support and we'll find a way for you to pay.
- Delivery times. The delivery method is shown on the product page before payment. Top-up codes are delivered automatically, usually within a few minutes. P1–P4 games are handled by a manager during support hours (08:00–24:00 Moscow time); orders placed at night are processed in the morning. The status is shown on the order page.
- Guarantees. Top-up codes: if a code isn't accepted and you haven't redeemed it yet, we'll replace it or refund you; a used code can't be replaced. P1: if the game isn't available in the required region, we refund the full amount. P2 and P3: a 6-month guarantee from delivery — if access stops working through no fault of yours, the account is replaced, and if a replacement isn't possible, you get your money back. Until the item has been delivered, you can cancel the order for a full refund. Details are on the guarantees page (in Russian).
- How to check the store. More than 16,000 reviews have been left by buyers after deals on third-party marketplaces: on FunPay the store is called Vensurel, on Avito — ZAMON SHOP; the store cannot edit these reviews. Links to the profiles are on the reviews page (in Russian).

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my PSN password?
Not for a PSN card: you enter the code yourself. For P4 you don't need your own account: you get a new one. For P2 and P3 you sign in to the account the store gives you.
Which PSN account region should I choose?
There is no single best one. According to a comparison by T—Zh, Turkey has become noticeably more expensive since 2023, although older games are still cheaper there; in the Polish store almost all games have Russian subtitles and often Russian voice-over; the USA has the largest library. ZAMON offers both top-up cards and P1 via a code for all three. Before registering, check whether the games you want are available in Russian in that country's store.
Will my bank card work in another country's PS Store?
Most likely not: according to players' reports, since February 2026 a bank card goes through in PS Store only on an account from the country where it was issued (digital-report.ru, 08.02.2026; Sony has not commented). Central Asian and Caucasus countries don't have their own PS Store regions. What works is top-up codes for your account's country.
Can I change my PSN account region?
No, Sony doesn't allow it. If you picked the wrong region, you have to create a new account; purchases from the old one can't be transferred to it.
Disc or digital: which is better?
A disc can be resold, but you need a console with a disc drive. Digital works on any PS5 and PS4, and with a PSN card or P1 the game stays on your account. If you want the game for a long time and have no disc drive, choose a PSN card or P1.
